This semi-circle shawl is knit from the bottom of the hearts, up with some eyelet lacework and increases and decreases to create the chevron effect. There are a couple of unconventional knitting methods I employed to get the best possible shape for the hearts. If there are enough questions asked, I will create and post a video of any tricky stitches.

Notes: All decrease row stitch counts will only be correct after even rows are worked, because the increases for the chevron pattern are worked into the wrong side (odd/purl) rows - stitch counts at the beginning of even rows are often 18 stitches higher than the most recent decrease row. There are 5 different sequences for decreases in this pattern as marked by (dec#) - this number is not how many stitches are decreased, but which sequence # you’re on. Color changes are shown in color change to the font. Happy knitting!
