About

Bougainville is a tree that has a flower of the same name, also known as spring and three-maries. They are found in different colors such as white, purple, light pink, pink, red, yellow, orange and many others, some being simple and others having two colors. Bougainvilles fill our eyes during all seasons of the year and just like the flower, the Bougainville Shawl is a piece that can be worn all year round, its pattern with simple details allows us to play with different colors. A beautiful, delicate and very light shawl!

Shape and Construction

The Bougainville shawl is an easy and fun pattern to knit!
It has an asymmetrical triangular shape, knitted back and forth, with a few rows of texture throughout the work. Its construction starts with 6 stitches on the needle, and throughout the work we will always make increases on one edge and decreases on the other. At the hem (section 2) we have some rows with loops that form some designs, plus leaving the shawl with a beautiful and delicate texture.
