Bound Hearts takes the idea of a cable literally — two strands, crossing and going their own paths but never let go of each other either. The continuous cable runs up the back of the hand in the shape of two hears, a small piece of gothic romance you can wear every day.

Like Vellamo, Bound Hearts is built entirely on genuine intarsia-cable technique: real color cables meeting at the cross, no carried floats, no cheating the effect with duplicate stitch. It’s a slower, more detailed project than the headband — the second project, once your hands have found their rhythm with the first.
