Bouquet Placemat
The Bouquet Placemat is inspired by the trendy crochet bouquet, now reimagined in knitting. It features a beautiful floral design that will brighten any table.
I used two strands of cotton sport weight yarn and 5mm circular needles. This placemat is both attractive and functional.
It is worked in the round, starting from the center and working outward.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate knitters. The techniques used include:
Knitting with circular needles
Long tail cast-on
Knitted cast-on
Bind-off
Lace knitting (yarn over)
Knit front and back (kfb)
