This is a top-down, cabled sock with a garter-edge, traditional heel flap. It is worked using magic loop; needle 1 will be front of foot/instep/leg, and needle 2 will be back of the foot/leg and heel.

This sock has cables around the entire leg and down the top of the foot. Due to this you may need to go up a needle size (from what you normally knit socks with) to have them fit. Cable instructions are both charted and written.

This pattern was designed with yarn support from MT Studio Designs. The inspiration of the sock was the rugged texture of bark on the poplar trees in my yard. Combining that with the lovely yarn from Madelinetosh, these socks were born.

Size 1 (2, 3)
8” (9”, 10”) actual foot circumference
