Helen Ardley’s bag is fun and bright, and great for shopping. It’ll hold your purse, your phone, and even a small knitting project. The bobble pattern (easier than it might look!) is bold and bouncy, and because the contrasting colour is added later – by embroidering over the main-colour bobbles – you can wait until the last minute to decide how many you want and where you want them.

Pattern calls for 4 skeins of Stonewash (168) and 1 skein of Aqua (348) for the optional embroidery. Three buttons and a stitch holder are also required.
