Bouton d’Or Shawl feels like an old herbarium in which all the flowers are fixed in time to tell their stories. “Bouton d’or” is French for buttercup, this little yellow flower that simply makes the grass better. Its story is the humble story of summer happiness.

This shawl is worked from the top down, using the stranded colorwork technique, stockinette stitch and ribbing. It is made of three or four colorways of fingering to DK weight yarn. It is adaptable in size, as you can make the stockinette section as big as you desire.

Le châle Bouton d’or est comme un vieil herbier aux fleurs figées dans le temps afin de nous raconter leur histoire. Le bouton d’or, cette petite fleur qui ne fait rien d’autre que d’embellir l’herbe, raconte l’humble histoire d’un été heureux.

Ce châle est tricoté de haut en bas, en combinant jacquard, jersey et simples côtes. Il est fait avec trois ou quatre coloris de fil de grosseur “super fin”, “fin” ou “léger”. Il peut être fait grand ou petit, grâce à la longueur variable de la section en jersey.
