This pattern is a pattern of my friend Olga MsQueen.

Pattern notes: the hat is worked bottom up to crown. You can adjust hat’s dimensions by adding some reps of chart in a round (remember casting on a relevant number of sts) and/or adding one/two vertical pattern reps. Please, note that you may need a longer organza ribbon.
Sizes: for a child’s head 48-50cm and for an adult’s head 56-58cm. The instructions for both sizes are given in sequence child’s/adult’s.
MATERIALS:
Yarn: 160 meters per 100 gr, 1/1 skein
Needles: 4mm and 5,5mm circular needles, length 16-20 in (40-50 cm)
Notions: cable needle, tapestry needle, organza (silk or chiffon) piece of fabric width 6 in (15cm), length 50/60in (130/150cm)
Gauge: 26 sts x 30 rows over beehive pattern, using larger needles;
Cable width 2 ¾ in (7 cm) knitted with larger needles;
16 sts x 28 sts over reversed st-st, using larger needles;
Measurements: length 8.25 in (21cm)/9,5 in (24cm), circumference 16.5 in (42cm)/19.75 in (50.25cm).
