This is one of five original designs in Ann Hood’s new book “Knitting Yarns: Writers on Knitting”.

Three unique patterns to fit to-go coffee cups. Using double pointed needles and fingering weight yarn create either a cabled, fair isle or just a ribbed cozy. I used three different colors to create the three cozy’s. A great yarn to substitute is Fingering by Claudia Hand Painted Yarns.

FINISHED SIZE: Average: 3.5” height x 9” circumference
The ribbed version finished, layed flat, measures 3 1/2” long x 2 1/4” wide.
The cabled version finished, layed flat, measures 4 1/2” long x 3” wide.
The fair isle version, finished, layed flat, measures 4” long x 3 1/4” wide.

When I first learned how to knit, my go to person was my mother in law, Jan Bowden. She always had the time and patience to answer my questions and fix my mistakes. In doing so she has taught me about perseverance and unconditional love. To this day she is always there for my family and myself.
