This is a hooked up in double crochet (English) in the round, top down with the Aladdin Sane lightening bolt down the front of each mitten and an optional black star in the palm of each hand.

You’ll need a ball of white, red and blue DK yarn with scrap black DK.

The bottom of the mittens use front post double crochet to create a ribbing and the thumb is added on afterwards.
