Elegant and mind-boggling complex looking cables are set in a simple shape, with a grippy practical seed stitch palm.

This pattern makes use of charts and a photo tutorial for the I-cord cable technique. Knitted I-cord is woven into the knitted cable, using the natural holes where cable crossings occur. No special tools or techniques are needed, just patience and imagination.

One size - women’s small/medium. Measures 6.5”/16.25cm around at ribbed cuff and 9”/23cm long. These are quite stretchy - should fit a number of different hand sizes. If making adjustments to stitch count, bear in mind the cabled back-of-hand side has a tighter stitch gauge than the seed stitch palm side.
