ABOUT THE PATTERN

Bowman is a textural beanie with a minimalist aesthetic. It has a folded rib brim and a geometric slipped stitch design. The hat is knitted in the round and starts with a provisional cast on which is joined at the top of the rib.

It is knitted in Rauwerk’s Merino DK yarn, which is unlike any merino I have ever worked with. Soft and bouncy, yet rustic and natural, it holds the stitch beautifully. If you would like to an alternative yarn, use any DK with good stitch definition.
