I designed this adorable little wrist wallet to be worn when you don’t feel like carrying a purse. If you are a mom like me, you start feeling like a pack mule after you load up on all the stuff you have to carry. I have often wished I had something just like this when shopping or going out on a date. This would also be great to wear when you do market fairs.

The design could also be used for a great gift idea to a coffee lover. Simply place on a coffee tumbler, add a gift card and voila! Wrist wallet/coffee cozy/gift card holder all in one!

The best part about this project is it is worked seamlessly with only 2 ends to weave in with only a tiny bit of sewing for the center bow.

Supplies Needed:

  • 50- 75 yds of cotton/cotton blend DK yarn (size 3), such as Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend or Lion Brand Coboo. If you choose to use Coboo, you may need to go up a hook size or crochet more loosely. (Note: You could also use acrylic yarn, but it will stretch quite a bit.)
  • Crochet hook size F 3.75 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
  • 2.5” (6.4 cm) piece of ribbon or leather for center embellishment (optional)
  • 1 8 or 10 mm bead for button (or you could use a button, but it would need to be size 7/16”/11 mm)
  • Clear nylon sewing thread, or sewing thread in the color of your choice
  • Scissors, measuring tape, regular sewing needle, and yarn needle
