The Box Cutter Cowl is a simple, functional and eye catching neck warmer that will fit nicely under the collar of your coat without the bulk of a scarf or large cowl. The Box Cutter Cowl is meant to be snug, it might seem too small but Caron Pantone yarn has an amazing stretch to it, so it stretches but won’t stretch out! There is a small amount of yarn in one “Braid” and my goal was a functional pattern that could be made with just one. As such, this cowl was made to fit “average size”, if you would like to make a larger cowl I’ve included sizing instructions below but you’ll need to buy more yarn! You can, of course, use any yarn you like, a weight 5 or heavy weight 4 would work beautifully!
