I designed this pattern as part of a kit for my handspun 4ply wool. A customer had requested a cowl pattern and she could only do stocking stitch. I wanted to give her an opportunity to create something a bit more special without taking her out of her comfort zone and maybe giving up - so the Box Stitch Cowl was born.
