It’s a boxy tee and it is recommended to eat some golden brown potato pancakes (Irish boxty) while wearing it. This oversized, slightly cropped, drop shoulder tee is knit bottom up. It can be knit in the round to the armholes, then knit flat and joined at the shoulders, or it can be knit completely flat and seamed. There is a large, braid cable up one side on the front and back.

You can use any yarn and needles that will give you the correct gauge. The fabric should not feel stiff or tight when knit. A cotton blend makes this nice for summer and not too heavy. It is easy to lengthen or shorten it as there is no shaping through the body.
When choosing a size be aware that measurements are given with 8” of ease. For a more fitted look, go down a size.
