This knitted hat is a terrific way to use that special skein of sock yarn. Use fingering weight yarn held doubled on US 6 needles for the brim then switch to US 8 needles for the body of this slouch hat. DPN’s are needed for the crown.

“Brackett” has a fun lacey spiral detail that gives the hat a natural slouch appearance. The Tosh Sock is the pretty blue/purple/green multi colored hat. IF you want to use a worsted weight then hold it single stranded and follow the directions. The rust colored hat used Swan’s Island Worsted weight yarn (gorgeous to knit with).
