ABOUT BRAID SCARF
This pattern is knitted flat in stockinette stitch, with a beautiful cabled ‘braid’ design running along the length.
It has a ribbed edge at each end, and optional crocheted frills along the long edges to prevent it from curling.

o 300g of Chunky yarn (405m / 444 yds)
I used Sirdar No 1 Chunky (50% Acrylic 50% Nylon) in colourway 229 Mushroom
Frills
o 50g of Chunky yarn (68m / 74 yds)
I used Sirdar No 1 Chunky (50% Acrylic 50% Nylon) in colourway 237 Almond
Needles
o 6mm knitting needles
o Cable needle
o 6mm crochet hook
Others
o 2 stitch markers

SIZE
One size - makes a scarf approximately 175cm (69 inches) long and 25cm (10 inches) wide.

GAUGE
18 sts and 26 rows = 10cm / 4 inches in ribbing
