About

This is a seamless sweater knitted top-down in the round and shaped with the raglan technique. Braid cables transition smoothly from the collar ribbing and follow the raglan increases to the body. There, two cables are braided into one that continues down the side of the sweater.

Finished dimensions: infant (1 year, toddler)

  • Collar circumference, unstretched: 14”/36cm (14”/36cm, 15”/38cm)
  • Chest circumference: 20”/51cm (22”/56cm, 24”/61cm)
  • Sweater length: 12”/31cm (13”/33cm, 14”/36cm)
  • Sleeve circumference: 8”/20cm (10”/25cm, 11”/28cm)

Materials

  • US size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 24” (61cm) or longer (adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge; pattern can be adapted for DPNs)
  • Worsted weight yarn: infant - approx. 200 grams; 1 year - approx. 250 grams; toddler - approx. 300 grams
