This pattern takes a very small amount of yarn; it could be a good scrap yarn project. I probably overestimated the amount of yarn because I wasn’t honestly sure but I just used a bit of wool I had in my stash that didn’t have a label anymore. I measured it at 12 wpi. I think something like Caron Simply Soft or Red Heart Super Saver could work just as well.
