These socks were inspired by a braided necklace of beads. The swoop of the cable pattern across the tops of these socks echoes the drape of the necklace. This pattern uses a number of different techniques – cables, lace, and twisted stitches – to produce a simple, yet eye-catching motif.

The socks are knit from the top down with a heel flap and gusset. Right and left socks are mirror images of each other. Both written instructions and charts are included in the pattern.

Sizes: Medium (Large) -- 7” (8.5”) foot circumference to fit 6-9 (8-11) US women’s shoe sizes. Because of the swirling cable, the leg of the socks fits snugly. If in doubt about sizing, err toward knitting the larger size or going up a needle size to obtain a larger gauge
