I saw a fun stitch pattern in one of my many stitch dictionaries and I immediately saw a hat. The pattern undulates using a long loop that makes it look like waves, hence the name. The stitch pattern makes for an extremely stretchy fabric, especially with a wool blend. The hat fits everyone in my family from my 6’5” husband down to my 2 year old son. The problem now lies in who gets to wear it, or if I have to make one for each of us.

When decreasing the crown of the hat, if decided to knit 2 together or purl 2 together, I chose to let the leading stitch dictate… But you may chose differently.

EDIT: I am editing a second draft to this pattern as I was really tired and distracted as I was writing this one up. I forgot to add abbreviations … And there are typos.
