Using the fisherman’s rib as an all-over pattern and simple cable panels on the centre front and sleeves, this is a soft easy-wear sweater. Rib trims on the hems keep a snug shape. The cable pattern can be worked either from the chart or written instructions, whichever you perfe. The jumper is worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed. If you are working from the chart, note that the chart begins with a WS row.

This pattern features in Issue 86 of Knit Now, which is on sale from 22nd March in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK. Find your nearest UK stockist here. Copies can also be ordered from MoreMags or if you prefer, digital editions are available via PocketMags.
