This design is a creative way to use up those odds and ends of leftover yarn that are too pretty to discard but not enough to make a project on their own. Amounts given in the “Materials” section will be enough to make a size XL.

Detailed amounts for smaller sizes can be found in the final photo and on page 2 of the written pattern.

Finished Measurements:
Hand Circumference: 6.5, (7.6 , 8.8, 10)”/17, (19, 22, 25) cm
Height: 6.5, (7.5, 8, 8.5)”/17, (19, 20, 22) cm

All measurements used are based on average sizes for children, women, and men found on the Craft Yarn Council website. Specific modifications can easily be made to accommodate your exact hand size using multiples of 4 (or multiples of 2 if you prefer K1, P1 ribbing).

Pattern notes also include an explanation of how to adjust thumb placement if necessary to achieve a better fit.

This pattern creates a “uni-hand” mitt which can be worn on either the right or left hand so construction is identical for each mitt.

A matching hat pattern is also available as a free pattern on Ravelry.

Because this is a free pattern it has not been tech edited, however I have tested all sizes available for accuracy. If you find any errors please let me so that I can correct them!!
