This pattern is part of my series of patterns that use my Breakaway Crochet Method.

These mitts use a BRAND NEW technique for working continuous motifs.

PLEAE MAKE SURE YOU LEARN THE TECHNIQUES REQUIRED TO WORK THIS PROJECT BY EITHER:

Reading the Training Wheels Project ebook: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/breakaway-traini...

OR

watching this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/Zd5AuDJ0MKQ

Once the new techniques are learnt, these mitts are very fast and easy to make, and they are a perfect last-minute gift idea.

The pattern consists of “broken” training wheels and sections of chain stitch mesh. They are totally seamless and everything is joined-as-you go.

If considering using another yarn, make sure there is a degree of “spring” about it so that the mitts retain some amount of elasticity.
