The Brecken Basket is a midsized basket with 2 side handles, that can be used to hold so many things!

Use it to store yarn or even as a pant pot cover! This is a beginner friendly pattern that uses basic crochet stitches. The instructions show you how to use 3 colors to create a striped design, but feel free to use as many or few colors as you’d like.

This basket uses 2 strands of bulky weight yarn held together to make a sturdy basket that won’t flop over. If you are unable to find a bulky weight yarn, you can substitute for 1 strand of super bulky (6) weight yarn. Note that the size and sturdiness may differ if a different yarn is used.

Difficulty: Easy

Standard US crochet terms

Finished Size: approx. 10” x 10”
