Fingering/1/3 Ply/Wpi: 21.

My yarn: MAFIL, Cablè 3 (Italian brand), crochet thread size 3, 100 % mercerized cotton.
Ball: 50 g (1.8 oz), 140 m (153 yd).

Any brand for crochet thread size 3 will do fine.
E.g: Crochet thread #3 (YarnArt).
Also Aunt Lydia’s (Coats), or Petra (DMC).
Available in US at Joann, Knitting Warehouse, Red Heart, Michael’s.

• If you cannot find crochet thread # 3, look for fingering cotton, close to 140 meter (153 yd) on 50 g/1.8 oz.*
• Great site for Yarn Substitution:
• Learn how to determine yarn weight by WPI (Wraps per Inch):

TOTAL AMOUNT for 7 panels (sample). Amount in yds is approx:

S/M: 250 g (8.8 oz) - 765 yds/ 109 yds pr panel.
L/XL: 300 g (10.6 oz)- 920 yds/ 130 yds pr panel.
XXL: 350 g (12.4 oz)- 1070 yds/ 153 yds pr panel.
XXXL: 400 g ( 14 oz)- 1225 yds/ 175 yds pr panel.

If you need to buy yarn:
One color for each panel: 1 ball 50 g (1.8 oz) pr. panel, plus 2 balls for edging of the panels and the armholes.
The 2XL and 3 XL will need 2 balls of each panel color.

D/3 or E/4 (3.25 - 3.5 mm), or any hook size to obtain the given
gauge: 20 dc = 10 cm /4’’.
