This is a 3-in-one pattern: Anklewarmers, Pulsewarmers (wrist without thumb hole) and cup cozy.

Slipped stitches and texture are perfect ways to increase warmth and distribute colors in strong-contrast yarns. Buttons and knit-in i-cord edges complete with buttonholes, make this a no-sew/easy-finish project.

Sleek lines mean these work well under jeans or work trousers. Have fun with wild color, or go sophisticated with heathery alpaca to wear over work shoes on your downtown lunch hour.

Buttons mean you do not have to remove your shoes to pop these on for a quick walk. Buttons also give your project a jaunty style.

I love pewter buttons from Norway, but there are many possibilities… perhaps some unmatched favorites from Grandmother’s button box?

Note: I got 2 small anklewarmers and two pulsewarmers from 100gm of Mirasol Hacho DK weight merino. Great yarn-stretching pattern!

Errata: In early versions of this pattern, some of the wrong side/right side instructions were incorrect for only the 2nd warmer. The version dated 8/24/11 (footer) is correct. If you purchased your pattern via Ravelry, you can download the corrected version for free.
