Breezy Collection (Longsleeve, Tank, V-neck)
The Breezy Collection is a mix and match pattern that includes two neckline options and four sleeve options for a total of eight different styles of tops. You can choose between a wide boatneck and a v-neck option. The top is first worked as a tank top, and you can then choose to add cap sleeve, ¾-length sleeves, or full length sleeves if you like. While the tank top version is suitable even for absolute beginners, the sleeves are shaped using short rows and, therefore, more suitable for intermediate knitters or confident beginners willing to learn new techniques. The hem, cuffs, and neckline are finished with either an i-cord edge or narrow 1x1 ribbing.
This pattern has been tested and professionally tech-edited.
Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8)
To fit bust circumference: 70-75 (80-85) 90-95 (100-105) 110-115 (120-125) 130-135 (140-145) cm
Finished measurements in cm:
Body circumference: 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150)
Body length: 47 (47) 49 (49) 51 (51) 53 (53)
Back width: 34.5 (37.5) 38.5 (41) 41.5 (43) 44.5 (45.5)
¾ sleeve length: 22 (22) 22 (22) 22 (23) 23 (24) (adjustable)
Full length sleeve: 67 cm (adjustable)
Upper sleeve circumference (cap sleeves): 30 (33) 37 (39) 43 (46) 51 (57)
Upper sleeve circumference (¾ length / full length): 35 (39) 43.5 (46) 50 (54) 60 (67)
V-neck depth: 12 (14) 14 (15) 15 (16) 16 (17)
The top is designed to have 5-10 cm positive ease at the bust. Note that the sleeves have less positive ease such that if you size down they may get too tight.
Gauge: 17sts x 29 rows on 4.5mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Yarn requirements:
I recommend a sport to light DK weight yarn for this pattern. The gauge and needle size specified on the yarn label will be smaller than in the pattern, which creates the ‘breezy’ fabric. If you want a tighter fabric, feel free to use a thicker yarn.
