Long or short, cotton or linen, the Brick & Mortar Cowl is a versatile piece that uses simple techniques to create an eye catching design. Knit your Brick & Mortar cowl with the soft Sanibel & Sandpiper from Classic Elite, or the lustrous Lino from Lang Yarns. Both versions can be easily adjusted for the size you prefer.

Sanibel & Sandpiper: 5” x 31” circumference.
Lino: 6.5” x 28” circumference.
(Cowl size can be easily adjusted)

1 ball Sanibel (Color A) and 1 ball Sandpiper (Color B).
1 ball Color A and 1 ball Color B of Lino.
(Note: 2 balls of each color is required if you are making your cowl longer)

Sanibel & Sandpiper: US Size 6, 24” circular.
Lino: US Size 7, 24” circular.
(Or sizes to meet gauge)

Sanibel & Sandpiper: Approximately 5 sts and 10.5
rows = 1” over stitch pattern.
Lino: Approximately 5.25 sts and 11.25 rows = 1”
over stitch pattern. (Unwashed,unblocked)
Meeting gauge is not crucial for this project, but
not meeting gauge may result in not having enough
yarn of Color B.
