Bright, playful and full of texture, the Brickwork Vest is a standout piece for little wardrobes. Featuring an all-over slipped garter stitch pattern, it combines bold contrast with a beautifully structured fit. The deep ribbed neckline, sleeves and hem provide a cosy finish while ensuring a snug and comfortable wear.

Designed with versatility in mind, the Brickwork Vest layers effortlessly over tees, long sleeves or dresses - making it perfect for year-round styling. The engaging stitch pattern keeps knitting interesting and having you reach for the next colour.

Construction
The vest is knit from the bottom up to the armholes either flat or in the round. The yoke section is worked flat before the neckline and armhole ribbing is worked either flat or in the round.

Instructions are provided in both charted and written form for the garter slipped stitch pattern.

Gauge
Knit in the round in garter stitch, 22 stitches by 46 rows over 10 cm / 4 inches.

Any 8 ply / DK weight yarn that you can achieve gauge with. It is strongly recommended to use three solid colour yarns that strongly contrast each other.
