This is the fourth of my beautiful series of decorated wine, champagne and theme liquor bottle sweaters. The bride and groom make a great wedding gift, beautiful gift wrap or decoration on the liquor shelf. Bottle sleeve was easy to knit in the round with applique accents. This sweater is designed for 11 inch circumference bottle, fits a standard champagne bottle. I left bottom open so bottle sits flat and I left top of neck open for easy pouring. Please see our groom pattern, which is sold separately.

Accents are done with lace weight mohair, rhinestone trim and buttons. Delicate veil with mini rhinestone button completes the ensemble. The bust line is stuffed with a Styrofoam ball and knit to fit. The groom design is easier and I recommend making the groom before the bride. I use I-cord for the bustle (hidden under skirt), arms and veil headband. Pattern includes a second tiara style lace veil with blusher.
