The is the second pattern release for the 2011 edition of Super Sock Scarefest.

If you’ve ever watched The Bride of Frankenstein, you’ll know that we have to wait a long time before she makes an appearance in the film. When we finally do see her, she’s wrapped in gauze from head to foot. These pedicure socks are inspired by her ‘look’. The pattern comes with two leg options, and uses an easy random lace technique. They’re a no-brainer (lol).

To knit these socks, you’ll need:

  • 2-3 50gm balls of Soxx Appeal, or 400-600 yds of fingering yarn containing at least 1% elastic. the elastic is critical to this pattern.

  • 6 5/8” buttons

  • optional: row counter, locking stitch markers, and a pair of dice or a sudoku book.
