Bridle Creek is a sweet, seamless, top-down cardigan in our beloved alpaca/wool Owl. Collar bands are created for the back neck, then stitches are picked up and cast on to build the ribbed back shoulders, shaped with short rows, then a pretty and satisfying knit-purl texture motif is worked to the underarm. Same is done at the fronts, with front bands worked simultaneously, then the fronts and back are joined at the underarm and the body is worked flat to the hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round to the cuff. And, you can even make a ribbed belt if you like. So great in Chamomile, but what about Bog?
