Made with roughly 1200 yards of a lightweight size 3 yarn (Caron Cupcakes recommended, but any 3 weight yarn will work) it’s just the right size (at approx. 31”×39”), and light enough to cuddle baby in on a cool summer evening, or to keep them comfy when the AC is blasting in the car! And because gauge isn’t important to this project, you can substitute any thicker yarn of your choosing to make a larger, cozier version for fall/winter too!

Have fun choosing yarn colors for this one - the brighter, the better!! This blanket is designed to be happy and vibrant, for both Mom and babe! Finish it off with a fluffy pom-pom on each corner, for that fun and whimsical touch that takes the cuteness factor through the roof!
