This warm hat uses Knit Picks Stroll yarn, which is super soft and a pleasure to knit with. The colorwork pattern attempts to capture the beauty of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

I love driving through the Georgia mountains. The Blue Ridge Mountains have soft, rolling, curved tops. When you drive through North Georgia you can see dozens of ridges and mountain tops in layers from a single vantage point. It is spectacular. This hat (and the Bright Mountain Knits logo for that matter) was inspired by a a mural I did in my son’s nursery. I was trying to capture the the vast, misty views that remind me of home.

This hat is sized for adults and older teens, and will fit most people.

The hat is knit from the top down. You can use double pointed needles and a 16″ circular needle or magic loop.
