Discover the charm of Briley (DK), a beloved choice among novice sock knitters and enthusiasts craving a touch of excitement beyond the basic vanilla sock. Its understated yet engaging texture offers universal appeal, providing an enjoyable knitting experience for all skill levels. What sets Briley apart is its versatility; this textured sock pattern effortlessly harmonises with a diverse range of sock yarns. Whether you opt for variegated, self-striping, speckled, or solid colours, your outcome will be both delightful and uniquely yours. Embrace the joy of knitting as you create your own personalised pair of Briley socks, where every stitch tells a story of creativity and craftsmanship.

Worked in the round, this pattern provides both cuff-down and toe-up instructions for a seamless sock, accompanied by charts for pattern motif. While the pattern comes with instructions for a short row heel, it’s adaptable to your personal preferences and unique feet. Links for alternative heels have been included!

With multiple sizes, you can easily achieve the perfect fit with the intended negative ease. I’ve written this sock pattern with magic loop in mind. However, you can also work on double-pointed needles instead if you’d prefer (just use extra markers to denote the instep and sole stitches).

To further assist you, a link is provided that contains additional resources, such as a yarn substitutes and a technique playlist. These tools give you everything you need to create your masterpiece confidently.
