What you will need to know: How to work in the round: any method will work with for this pattern. Although I do not recommend 12” circular for the socks or 1-16” circular for the hat…the circumference is too small. These needle sizes will work if you are doing a 2-at-a-time method. There are a lot of resource books and internet information if you want to learn any of the circular methods…try something new!

Sock Basics: This pattern is written so that you can choose which sock method you prefer. If you are unfamiliar with knitting socks, grab some instructions and plug in my pattern. No specific sock instructions are given. Just keep in mind that half of your stitches are for the instep and the other half are for the sole/heel. THIS PATTERN IS WRITTEN AS IF YOU ARE WORKING 1 SOCK AT A TIME

Although the sample is knit for a girl, this is a gender neutral pattern.
