This “pattern” is more a formula for a lovely, lacy sock with faux-cable borders. It assumes you are familiar with basic sock construction.

You may use your preferred toe, heel, and bindoff. I have written out instructions for an Elegant Toe, but the knitter may use any toe they are comfortable with. I have not written directions for short row heels, or heel flap heels. However, I have provided helpful links if you are not familiar with how to do those.

The sock pattern is written for top down or toe-up, and
will look great either direction

This pattern will look best in solid, tonal, or semi-solid yarns or very subtly patterned hand dyed yarns.
