This stunning scarf sends waves of pleasure around your neck. Using the brioche stitch, ribs flow side to side to show off what can be done with this wonderful technique. The fabric’s squishiness brings a soft and insulating feature to the scarf. The yarn used also adds to the allure in a rich silky feel. Knit in The Fiber Seed’s Sprout DK brings a “crispness” to the stitches that makes the scarf a dramatic accessory. The pattern is based on Nancy Marchant’s wonderful patterns in “Knitting Fresh Brioche”. Her skill with brioche is unsurpassed.
Two distinctly different colors of yarn are recommended to really show off the beautiful stitch. This scarf is approximately 7” x 76”, but could be made is wider or longer with the 2 skeins of Fino Simple.
Using the Fiber Seed’s Sprout DK, you may want to use 2 skeins of each color.
