This is a 100% CLASSIC C R O C H E T pattern, not tunisian, and definitively not knitting. The amazing stitchery uses simple stitches and short rows technique.

♡ This beanie feels and looks like a knitted one, but it’s 100% classic crochet.
♥ The entrelac looking stitchery is gorgeous and it will be a head turn.
♡ This REVERSIBLE beanie has a few slices joined as you go, only one sewing line at the back of the head and it’s cropped.
♡ Because this beanie is very stretchy it fits for more head circumferences and it’s a great gift in the chilly season for any girl, teen or adult.
♥ Using any variegated yarn with smooth transitions from one color to the next one you’ll obtain a charming variegated unique look each time.

This pattern is written in English, American terminology with STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS, LARGE & DETAILED PHOTOS, an international crochet signs chart and a video tutorial to follow alongside the written instructions for making this charming beanie.

ONE SIZE:
• TEENS & ADULT , 24 cm long using DK yarn, 28 cm long using WORSTED yarn, adjustable circumference

SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE Basic skills of crocheting are needed

STITCHES YOU’LL USE: slst- slip stitch; blslst- back loop slip stitch; blhdsl- back loop half double slip stitch (aka brioche stitch or yarn over slip stitch);

MATERIALS:
• any DK yarn (weight 3) except velvet type, approx. 200m
• Hook – 4.5 mm or any other size to obtain the gauge
• Scissors

You can use WORSTED/ AFGHAN/ARAN yarn (weight 4), approx. 200m and 5mm hook and you’ll obtain a longer beanie.

This design is enhanced when using variegated yarns with slow transitions from one color to the next one. Examples: UNFORGETTABLE by RedHeart, VALS by Nako, AMBIANCE by YarnArt, CARNIVAL by Hobbii, RIOT by King Cole, PRISM by MaryMaxim etc.

For my variegated beanie I’ve used SUNNY RAINBOW yarn by TEDI (European chain stores). The exact same shade is PRISM (MACAW) by MaryMaxim.
