Brioche half mittens are knitted in brioche stitch from the wrist up to the fingers. They are worked in the round except for the upper part of the thumb wedge which is worked back and forth and then sewn together.

The length of the half mittens can easily be adjusted. Work more rows before you start with the increaces of the thumb wedge, but keep in mind that you may need more yarn than listed below.

Materials
50 g Drops Nord (50 g = 170 m / 186 yards.

Needles
Double pointed needles (or if you prefer circular needles and work with the magic loop method) 2 mm (US 0) (or the needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge).

Gauge
30 sts x 76 rows in brioche stitch = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) after wash and blocking.

Measurement
Approx. 16,5 cm, 6,5 inches long and 8 cm, 3,2 inches wide (16 cm, 6,3 inches in circumference).
