Here’s a little bit of extra info about the Brioche Hug:

Materials
Yarn: Gingersnap DK Lux. 280yds/100g. Pictured size 3 used 5 skeins. 2 in Gray (MC) and 3 in contrasting colors. Sizes and yardages are listed in Chart A below.
Needles and Extras:
Size 5.5mm (9US) AND 6.5mm (10.5US) on a 40+ inch cord. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Size 5.5mm (9US) needles in your preferred method for working the sleeve cuffs in the round.
1 extra cord (or second set of the larger needles) for working the 3 needle bind-off.

Gauge
Pattern for gauge: brioche knit flat on 6.5mm (10.5US). To determine row gauge you will count the vertical ‘v’ stitches.
Unblocked: 18sts (width) and 19 v’s (length)
Blocked: 15 sts (width) and 17 v’s (length)
Note: Brioche REALLY grows in blocking, especially if you’re using superwash yarn as it is heavier than non superwash.

Sizing
This cardigan is knit from the bottom up with approx. 12-15” (30.5 - 38 cm) of positive ease
Choose the size that matches your actual bust size.
Note: Yardage is given for the short sleeve version. All the ribbing and cuffs and collar are knit with CC3 but you could knit them in MC or in any color that you prefer depending on your yardage!
