Briodag is Gaelic for bridal scarf, perfect to ward off those thin winds tha’ do not go around you, but straight through.

The scarf is worked in three colors: two close in value and a contrasting color. Short rows shape the rippling edges.

Virtual Yarns offers a kit that includes: pattern card with full instructions and yarn sufficient to make the complete ensemble of beret, scarf and fingerless gloves.

The scarf comes in one size; the beret in two sizes and the gloves in three sizes. There is yarn supplied for all three projects in the largest sizes, plus enough for a swatch.

Yardage required is estimated.
