For experienced knitters who like texture & are good chart readers

This jaunty design combines stitch patterning & cables from traditional Fisherman’s Gansey style with the classic shape of a British Driving Cap- easily adjustable to a custom fit, sized for adults. Knit in one piece with shaped top, knit flat, then picked up & finished in the round with a brim, then picked up across the front & finished last.

Extras include 1”wide brim elastic & snap set (both optional), 1 small sheet of 14 mesh plastic canvas for brim stiffener & a small amount fleece type fabric stabilizer.

The Downloadable Pattern leaflet contains instructions for the Cap only, The e-book contains both the cap & the companion knucks.

Hard cover book version is now available in a German translation.
