As all my patterns, this one is designed as a detailed tutorial, great for many yarns (you don’t have to obtain my gauge so count this pattern as “recipe” also) and for a range of sizes from newborn to L-XL adult.
Thanks to thorough explanations and lots of VIDEOS even beginners with patience can manage to make this cosy and easy pullover/sweater. The pullover has approximately 5 cm (2”) positive ease for adult sizes, so the form is free and adjustable.

Instructions are given in 2 variations of English crochet terms: UK and US ones in 2 separate files for your conveniece.
Each file contains:

  • sizes and measurements
  • gauge/tension calculations
  • stitch key
  • main steps with lots of photos, graphs, calculations and VIDEOS.
  • blocking and care tips.

16 Sizes available: 0-3 months / 3-6 months /6-9 months / 9-12 months / 12-18 months / 18-24 months / 24-36 months / 4-5 years / 6-7 years / 8-9 years/ 10-11 years / 12-14 years / XS-S (adult) / S-M (adult) / M-L (adult) / L-XL (adult).

The pullover/sweater is made in one piece in top-to-bottom direction with short rows to lowe front neck.

You’re free to use your favorite yarn according to the season and matching it hook.

You’ll laso need:
1) 2 hooks - one for the main body and 1 smaller for cuffs and neck.
2) removable stitch markers
3) tapestry needle to hide loose ends to sew the ribs.
4) scissors
5) tailoring tape.

Videos are given with Russian speaking voice but they are helpful with no sound at all.

Errata on page 14 (row 3): read hdc (US) / htr (UK) instead of sc (US) / dc (UK) in the line:
“Make sc in each stitch between popcorns and don’t forget to make raglan increases”
