Broccoli is not only delicious (although my son claims differently!) it is one of the prettiest vegetables, with its flower like florets and of course it´s known to be super healthy too. Once the Holidays have passed, we are enouraged to eat more greens and maybe take a healthier route after the excess of any festive celebrations. I now feel inspired to knit and wear some healthy, delicious and cute looking Broccoli Sockoli socks to help motivate me (to put down the chocolate!). And of course these broccoli socks are happy and smiling. Like we will be when wearing them!

Construction Notes
These socks are knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff and have an eye of partridge heel flap and gusset. There´s a stranded colorwork motif with large, happy, broccoli florets on the leg. The head of the broccoli has some purl stitches to help create broccoli floret texture. The face details can be knit with 3 colours in one round or duplicate stitched, whatever is preferred. Tiny colorwork baby broccoli florets are knit just before the toe.
