This afghan looks great no matter which side you choose as the “right” side. The pattern stitch is simple enough for the beginning knitter, yet has enough going on to keep the interest of even the more advanced knitter. I’ve played around with the stitch pattern slightly to add a little “zig” to the design. Plus, the math has been done here for you so you can choose from baby size, lap-robe size, or full-sized afghan.
