This cloth can either be used as a dishcloth or as a hot pad under your tea pot. I have designed a matching scrubbie or coaster to go with either one or the other.

For those who are unfamiliar with working two colours of yarn in a project, I have endeavoured to make my instructions as simple and clear as possible so that you will be successful. It might be a good idea to start with the coaster, just because it is a smaller project and yet will give you a ‘feel’ for carrying your colours along.

To make a dishcloth and matching scrubbie, you will need 1 50 gr ball of the main colour and about 25 gr of the second colour.

6 1” x 75” strips of netting are required for the scrubbie.

For a hot pad and 4 coasters, 2 50 gr balls of the main colour are required and 1 50gr ball of the second colour.
