DESIGN OVERVIEW: Knitted in simple stockinette stitch with asymmetrical lacy stripes, made with elongated stitches, this comfortable sweater is designed with plenty of positive ease, dropped shoulders and deep V-neck. The sleeves cuffs, bottom band and neck band are knitted in Garter stitch rib to add more interest and texture to the design. The recommended positive ease is about 10-20 cm/4-8 inches. Front, back and sleeves of sweater are knitted separately bottom up on straight needles. After shoulder seams are closed, the stitches are picked up for neck finishing. Neck band is knitted on circular needles.
